Use

The site is intended for personal use for storing personal and medical information with the ability to share certain information with others in an emergency. This site is not intended to replace or represent an individual's medical records created by other medical organizations, or replace or represent the advice of medical professionals or services. All of your information is provided by you and for the use that you specify. All the information you provide is secure and is viewed as "private". Secure information is not shared with others and is only accessible through your account number, username, and password until you select that information to be shared. Shared information through the selection of allowing emergency access, allows that information to be shared over non-secure networks including telephony access. When you select information to be shared, this information is viewed as "public" data and maybe non-secured. Non-secured data is made available if you become incapacitated and are unable to provide secure access to your information. With regards to information of children, Medit Corporation takes children's privacy very seriously. We take every precaution to safeguard against potential identity theft of children's information. Please refer to "Our Commitment To Children's Privacy" section under the Privacy Policy.

Membership Services and Fees

Your membership is renewed annually and entitles you to the use of all of our services.

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your credit/debit card to in the amount of the annual subscription fee. Medit Corporation retains the right to increase the annual fee of the subscription. In order to maintain your account, you must renew your subscription on or before the anniversary date. Your anniversary date is one year from the date you activated your account. If you select automatic renewal, you are responsible for maintaining your credit/debit card information to insure your credit/debit card remains active. If for some reason your credit/debit card becomes inactive, we will notify you by email when your subscription is ready to expire. You may edit your credit/debit card information at any time by accessing your information in your account and selecting Account Information. If we are unable to process your renewal, or unable to contact you for renewal, we reserve the right to terminate your account in accordance with our Termination policy.

Communications

Use of our site and services authorizes your consent to receive communications from Medit Corporation. Communications may include, but are not limited to, changes in policies, changes in services, billing information, new product releases, or new services available.

Disclaimer

The information on this site is provided to you "as is" and "as available". Medit Corporation makes no warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of your information. Medit Corporation also makes no warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, related to its websites, products, and services. Also Medit Corporation makes no warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, related to the services and availability used to access information, online or through telephony operated parties not affiliated with, or do direct business with Medit Corporation.

Medit Corporation makes no warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, regarding the content of your information stored, presented, or converted with respect to the process in which we convert text to speech for use in telephony access. Medit Corporation makes no representation or warranties of any kind, with respect to the services provided to you or for you, associated with the website or telephony services. Medit Corporation makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, regarding the services rendered by parties associated with the MIICE medical information products and services.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time by submitting written notice to Medit Corporation, P.O. Box 1745 Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Online access to your account will cease immediately upon termination. Medit Corporation will delete all of your information stored on our servers 30 days after termination. Medit Corporation makes no warranties of storage of your information after termination of your account. Furthermore, you agree to release Medit Corporation of any responsibility or liability for any loss, use, or lack thereof, of your account or records after termination.

Refund Policy

If you cancel your subscription within 30-days of activating your account, we will refund 100% of the cost of the subscription. To request a refund, you must send us a request for a refund in writing to: Medit Corporation, P.O. Box 1745, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

Limitation of Liability

You agree that Medit Corporation, or any other party named, shall have a total liability to you for all claims provided limited to the cost of an annual subscription fee of $49.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medit Corporation and any other parties, officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents from any claim or demand, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or other damages including without limitation, use, access, loss of work, loss of profit, loss of data, liability or injury of any kind with respect to our products or services. You understand and agree to take full responsibility and liability for the content, access, and accuracy of the information you provide for use by our services. If any portion of this agreement under the laws of any jurisdiction holds this agreement to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, then liability will be limited to the fullest extend permitted by applicable law.

Applicable Laws

The MIICE-medical information system, site and services are intended for U.S. residents only. Medit Corporation makes no warranties on access to this site or services outside the United States. If you choose to access this site or services outside the U.S. you take full responsibility and liability in compliance with local laws and jurisdiction. Access to personal and medical information may be subject to different regulatory requirements in other countries, or territories.

If you travel outside the U.S., check to make sure you are in accordance with local laws and jurisdiction governing access to personal and medical information. These Terms and Conditions are made subject to and shall be construed under the laws of the State of New Jersey. The illegality, invalidity, or unenforceability of any provision hereof under the laws of any jurisdiction shall not affect the legality, validity, or enforceability of any other jurisdiction or any other provision

MIICE is a trademark of Medit Corporation. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. MIICE medical information services are under license by one or more patents pending. Medit Corporation owns the copyright to all of the material presented on this site and through all of our services. None of the content, in form or implied form may be copied or reproduced in any way without the express written consent by Medit Corporation.

Notification Of Changes

Medit Corporation retains the right to contact you regarding changes to our Terms and Conditions, or issues regarding the security of your information. It may be necessary to revise our Terms and Conditions, without notice, to reflect changes, inclusive of, but not limited to use, fees, or services. We will give our best effort to notify you of any changes made. The Terms and Conditions will take affect upon posting the Terms and Conditions on our website.
